- GET INVOLVED
The best way to begin is to submit your program ideas in the proposal form below. If you have a show idea you think is underrepresented or might enhance our schedule apply here! We should have a response to you within two to three weeks.
Although our schedule is filling up we always welcome new ideas–even if we don’t have immediate openings, we try to stay in touch and keep you in mind when they do arise.
Right now we have a particular need for late night/early morning mix shows (1am-3am, 3am-5am and 4am-6am). These would ideally run the gamut between numerous genres and styles and explore the edges of the musical spectrum. A show from 3am to 5am needs to transition to mellower morning music by 4am.
If you have a public interest show, submit your ideas here.
The primary goal of community radio is to serve underrepresented communities in the Treasure Valley by providing programming the community can hear nowhere else on the radio dial. We strive for this variety in our programming by maintaining an open-door policy not only to new programming ideas but to community members at large.
Radio Boise also serves as a community bulletin board for issues-oriented information and acts a performance platform for the creative skills of local musicians, artists and youth.
